Need Help Deciding on a Second Love

Hi all,

So I am currently thinking of buying a second love bracelet but I can’t decide on the color I want. The one I already have is the plain yellow gold one.

I actually wanted to buy a gold Juste un Clou bracelet but as you know the largest size it has is 18, and I’m a 21 in the love bracelet. (However, is it true you can custom order it in a larger size?)

Anyway, for my second Love I’m between a white gold and another yellow gold one. I generally do like yellow gold more than while gold. I also like the option of wearing one in both hands and have a symmetry going on. However, wouldn’t that be too flashy for a 25-year-old guy?

On the other hand, I like WG because together with the YG one it will match my Rolex watch that is double tone. Another reason to get the WG one is that I have only silver jewelry and I could match them better with the Loves. (Finally, there is also the possibility that one day I will also get the rose gold love and compete the trinity. )

So, I would love to know what you suggest, which ones you own, or which ones you would get.

You just gave a bunch of reasons why you should get white gold so I think that is the one you should get. But it before the 21st before the price increase.

Well Nicole, I actually really want the yellow gold, despite all the reasons I mentioned that I should buy the white one. However, I am afraid two yellow gold ones stacked may be too flashy or that I won't be able to wear any more silver jewellery (since I intend to wear both 24/7).

Oh, makes sense. In that case, the white may be your best bet anyway. Either way, it will be beautiful.

I had the same dilemma as you as my first love is a YG, but deep down I know i love yellow gold and will never love the WG as much as the YG if i buy it no matter what reasons there are!! Just buy the one you think you will love more and you won't regret it! Just my 2 cents worth

Absolutely go with yellow gold. As CKT says, if you love YG, don't "settle" for WG for any reason. Every time I have second guessed myself and gone against my gut, I have regretted the decision.

I think two yellow love's will be amazing!!!

However, I cannot ignore that white gold is winning in the poll. I feel that maybe I haven't really given white gold a very good look.
Oh well, I guess I'll try both and then decide what combo I like best.

I think you should try them on together and see which combination you love most. I'm saving for a rose gold love to stack with my wg. I've seen many pictures of other tpf members with similar combinations and I think it's beautiful! When you get the same color it tends to, in my opinion, look like one bracelet. So my vote is for the wg. Please post pics when you decide!

I think you should visit the boutique again and try both of them! Don't let the poll affect your decision that much.. maybe look at more photos of different combinations online?

The 2 combinations I love are YG x YG and WG x RG but not so much WG x YG... but then again maybe you could change my mind if you decided to go with that combi
