I am looking for a late Valentine's day gift. I want a Cartier love ring for a long time---but the first time I went for it, I got a Tiffany DBTY instead. And then I went there again yesterday, I got the Tiffany T wire bracelet......Do i need to return it and get the Cartier ring? Thanks.

Def the love ring, I don't think the Tiffany T will outlast the love collection and the T is begging for scratches over time. The ring will scratch but honestly any flat surface will.

Keep the wire and get yourself a love ring second hand. I picked one up from a Japanese reseller and got a rare, Japan only edition with rose gold and alternating pink sapphires for less than the price of a new all rose gold ring. The second hand price is a lot less painful and you won't feel as bad when you start scratching it.

Thank you for your advise. But I dont think I will get a second hand ring. Cause I have a diamond ring that I wear everyday. If I get the Cartier ring, it will be my marriage ring and I prefer a new ring:)

I would keep the Tiffany T. A friend of mine has the love ring and it has so many scratches on it. I know that would drive me off the wall.

I heard of that!
A lot of people complain that the ring is so easy to get scratch.....even after wear it for a couple of days. Well, I dont see a cartier love ring around me and really wanna see how the ring look after it has those scratches on it.

Any piece of jewelry is going to scratch if you wear it. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1424802207.483977.jpg

Here's mine. It's survived daily commutes, trips to the vet and scooping the litter box. Yes, it's scratched but I don't mind. Jewelry is for wearing and enjoying. If you want to keep it perfect, you're better off buying it and putting it in a display case.
