Hello! I need help deciding on which vernis colour wallet to get :/ I have the damier ebene zippy wallet at the moment but it's a little too big for my Chanel m/l flap so I want a smaller one. I'm thinking of the vernis zippy coin purse, I was wondering if any of you could tell me whether a light coloured vernis wallet would get stained by the aubergine interior of a Chanel flap? I've never had a light vernis item so I don't know how colour transfer works on them! Please help, Thanks in advance!

  2. Yes light Vernis picks up color easily.

  3. My SA explained that vernis is porous (unlike cheap patent leather) and therefore susceptible to color transfer.

  4. Do you know if Epi or Empr leather in lighter colors are susceptible to color transfer as well?

  5. Anything light (leather, canvas & etc.) is susceptible to color transfer from dark items. And even without exposure to dark colors they can still turn yellow from sunlight/age.

  6. I have sarah in rose velour and so worried about color transfer as well. I think pomme would be a really great choice ;)

  7. As a vernis owner, I would not chance getting a lighter color with the Aubergine interior of your Chanel. I've even seen Pomme and Amarante with color transfer on them. Maybe you could go with Amarante in this case since it's close to Aubergine in color.

  8. Thanks for your advice  Will probably get a darker colour in that case. Have a nice day!

  9. Rose velour was so pretty! I wanted a bag in that colour but gave up as it seems like something I'd get worried over.. after seeing pictures of colour transfer stains on lighter vernis leather.

  10. Thanks  I'm not deciding between rouge fauviste and amarante.. seen amarante in the shop but the finger marks are quite distracting..
