Need advice - Pochette Metis empreinte glazing

Would you consider this kind of glazing defective? Should I return it? Other owners of PM Empreinte, what do you think about it?

I wouldn’t say it’s defective, it just looks sloppy. I’m not picky with my bags but this would bother me. I’d exchange.

just bought the new Gucci Horsebit 1955 and the craftsmanship is SO MUCH better.
do you think such a sloppy glazing is more prone to premature cracking/ wearing?

Honestly, I dont know. It probably wouldn't but it’s likely something you will notice whenever you carry the bag and it may take the joy out of carrying it. I have a noir metis and haven’t had any issues with my glazing and it gets a lot of use.

It seems it has not been glazed enough. And the leather in that part is kind of inclined. LV quality is really going downhill, unfortunately.

I responded in another thread, but I would also say that once you see something like that, you will keep seeing it and watching to see if it would get worse. On a nicely glazed bag, the glazing isn't even noticeable. I'd exchange it.
