Need advice on packing designer bags in a suitcase

I am studying overseas and will be graduating soon. I bought quite a lot of designer bags during my stay, and most of the bags are quite structured, like the Givenchy Antigona, Mulberry Bayswater, etc.

I can't possibly bring all my bags as carry-on so I was wondering how should I pack them in my suitcase? i would hate if they got squished and lose their structure.

Any ideas?

What I did when I lived overseas was use an old fashioned hard sided suitcase. My mom had some from the 70's she let me use. Is shipping them to yourself an option?

I would also vote to ship to yourself. Not only would I be concerned about damage if you squish in a suitcase but I would worry about theft.

+1 Agree with above - - - Ship to yourself insured and carry what you can with you on your flight. I would not place them in any checked luggage.
