Need advice from LV experts

Do any of you LV lovers own the Belem PM or Belem MM in the damier canvas? The PM seems to be a satchel and the MM seems to be a shoulder bag. I'm wondering if the shoulder bag would be more practical. If any of you guys own these bags please let me know what you think. Thanks!

I don't own one, BUT wanted to own one until I tried it on at the boutique. The pm is small and cute. I wanted the mm, but it felt like a big bulge under my arm and looked awkward. I saw a girl using the mm and one side was smashed in (due to her arm) and it didn't look very pretty anymore.
I do like how the zippers some down the sides on the bag. It opens up like a clam shell.
