Need a new LAMB...which one should it be?

    I have been evaluating my LAMBS (only two) and they are both brown. I wear a lot of clothes that go better with black, so this limits how often I can carry a LAMB bag. I am selling my old black Guess purse, because it is time.

    So....I am thinking the Lucerne Lancy in black. Anyone own one? How heavy is it? Size comparison, etc. Please recommend another option as well, too. Thanks!

    ^^I don't own the bag that you are looking for but I do think that it's a gorgeous choice! Have you looked at any of their new ultraviolet leather bags, I saw them this weekend and completely fell in love with them!

    I have the Lucern Saxon tote and I love it. I remember when I bought my bag seeing the Lancy. It looked bigger than the Saxon tote and a little bulkier. The saxon is a little bit of a heavy bag but its a much better quality leather bag than most of the others in past collections. If I carry it for to long it does make my back hurt. If your not up for a heavier bag then I might reconsider the lancy. Good luck with whatever you choose. The lucern collection is awesome so it might be worth trying it out.

    I love that they are better quality!!! That has been my issue with the newer bags. I have a NR, NMLC and Off 5th all at one mall here in Virginia. I scout out all the new LAMB and they are all lower than my expectations. I hate that the inside logo is just stamped in there, instead of the the enamel turquoise logo.

    I just decided it was time to have one very nice black leather bag. Plus, my birthday is on Christmas, so I have a lot of loot coming next month!

    I looked at the older signature lines, but I decided I don't want a bunch of bags that look alike (with the three lines down the front). Plus, I really would only want another Montego, so then I would just be collecting Montegos??? Nothing wrong with that, I know people do it, but it's not for me.

    This line is very hard to come by though, right?

    The 3 stripes are a signature staple to L.A.M.B.- he he.

    I so wish they would bring back the original name plate- the stamp ones just are so-so. My Hawke has the stamp.. but I do lovey that bag! At least there are details on the hardware.

    They are but there was a lancy on eBay recently. Maybe it's still there. Good luck with whatever you decide on.
