i am looking for my first expensive bag for under 2000. I generally prefer to wear bags that I know what they are, but they don’t scream the label. It needs to be an everyday crossbody in leather that’s very durable because I have two kids. I was leaning towards the Burberry d-ring, but are there other bags I should consider? I really like the Wandler Hortensia too, but I’m worried the leather will scratch a lot and show water damage.
Need a crossbody that doesn’t have prominent logos!

I recently became a lover of Balenciaga’s small City bag. I have used LVs pretty much my whole life. Just all logo’d out. And I need lighter bags too, anything with a lot of hardware is not for me. Lastly I need a thick crossbody strap. These skinny ones are no bueno.
Marc Jacobs have nice crossbody bags from leather also coccinelle have some really nice leather crossbody which don’t scream the label

Pre-loved Celine Box in liege leather. You could also look into Mark Cross. The Dorothy is a beautiful and functional cross-body, and can be found on sale in your budget. I got one on Yoox.
Longchamp. They have very few bags with visible branding - 3D is one of those. Other styles are pretty much muted when it comes to logos and such. The range goes from soft to structured, dirt cheap to really pricey, modern to classic - whatever you want, they got it. Their heritage can be seen in every single bag they make.

I ended up getting an LV Alma BB in epi! I was ok with the LV being imprinted and not very visible, and it felt like a classic bag. I had been avoiding the LV store because I thought it was too crowded and heavy on the logos and LV prints, but I’m loving my choice!
