Necklace similar to Alexandria von Bromssen on Project Runway?

Hi everyone!

Sorry for this strange question, but I'm increasingly obsessed with the signature piece of one of this season's Project Runway designers, Alexandria von Bromssen. It looks like a carnelian (?) bevel set in gold on a station style chain:

I have tried searching for something in this style, but haven't been able to find anything at all! Alexandria runs a boutique called Red Square, so it might be custom :cry: Can anyone think of a design close to this that I could hunt down? I particularly like the square shape and the lack of too many facets on the stone (if it is a stone!).

From what I can see in the photo - which isn't a whole lot - and the way it's connected to the chain. I would say it's actually enamelling as opposed to a gemstone.

I know, sorry, it's the best photo I could find. I've also never seen it very close up, which is why I wasn't sure it was even a stone! You're totally right, it could be enamel. But I'd prefer carnelian or a stone, if anyone knows of anything in the same sort of vein...

Jennifer meyer does this sort of design, not exactly the same though....hers is rectangle.

This necklace would be an easy request for any custom jeweller. That way you will get exactly what you are looking for - or imagining. I think that would be an easier approach than hoping to stumble across one ready made.
