Necklace into bracelet

Hi i have a heart tag necklace on the chunky chain i dont wear as its kinda heavy
Would it be possible to have a jeweler cut it down to a bracelet? its similar to this one

No it doesnt seem to stay that way. My jeweler did say he can remove the links though. Hopefully it looks good! Gives the piece some new life
