Ok, so I have naturally curly hair. I want fake curls. When i say "fake curls" I apologize, but I do not know the right word for it. I know that they're not actually fake curls, but you know what I mean. (The look of a person with straight hair that curls their hair?) I've made several attempts at it, and none of them come out right. First off, I am horrible with curling irons so I never use them. They don't curl my hair at all, and I just can't seem to get the hang of them. So I straightened my hair with my Sedu flat iron. It turned out well. Then I put rollers in my hair. It looked.......bad. Every time. The curls don't stay. I flipped my head over once and all the false curls came out. And also, with the rollers, one curl would come out like a large barely there wave, and another peice of hair would come out as a big springy curl, and for some reason it came out right above my head, like right on top of my head. Lmao. Please help me. I can't use curling irons, and the rollers just so aren't working. Help. :cursing:

I have naturally curly hair too. I take it you want the look of a wet set? In that case. Buy some firm setting lotion. User smaller rollers than for tighter curls. Roll you hair forward (not towards the back). Sit under the hair dryer 1-2 hours depending on the length of your hair. Finally, by no means should you comb or brush your hair (unless the curls are alot tighter than you wanted). Otherwise, use your fingers to separate.

I hope this helps. If not, I have no other suggestions. If you pm me, I can send you pic of me with natural curls vs. a wet set.

I have naturally curly hair. I airdry it and then I use a curling iron on the ends of my hair to get a nice loose wave. It makes my curls look really silky and pretty, and it is so much easier than straightening it everyday.

I've never been able to get rollers to work in my hair. I think your best bet is just practice practice practice with the curling iron, or do it with a straightener like the video posted ^^^.
