Supermodel Naomi Campbell faces a possible six months in prison as she was formally charged over her alleged assault of a police officer on a British Airways plane last month.
The troubled beauty, 38, was also charged with disorderly conduct and using threatening words to cabin staff at Heathrow Police Station this morning, following her arrest at Terminal Five exactly eight weeks ago today.
Dressed in a dark pinstripe suit, sunglasses and patent platform shoes, Campbell was smiling as she arrived for the appointment accompanied by her lawyer Simon Nicholls.

The model arrived at the police station in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes at 11.30am this morning, where she was greeted by TV crews and photographers, and left after 30 minutes with police.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed Campbell had been charged with five offenses.
She is accused of three counts of assaulting a constable, one count of disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and one count of using threatening, abusive words or behavior to cabin crew.
Her lawyer Nicholls read a statement on her behalf saying: 'Miss Campbell is bitterly disappointed that the prosecutors have advised her she is to be prosecuted for various offenses.
'Prosecutors in this case have decided she needs to be prosecuted in the magistrates court. She respects that decision and she hopes this matter is dealt with expeditiously.'

She is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court in west London on June 20th.
Campbell was flying to Los Angeles for a memorial service when she was informed by BA staff that one of her bags were missing.
The model allegedly shouted at staff over her missing bags - despite the same problem affecting hundreds of other passengers at the same time due to the baggage system problems at Terminal 5 - and police were called in an attempt to diffuse the row.
Reports claimed she physically and verbally assaulted both police and airline staff, as well as spitting and screaming.
Campbell was led off the plane's First Class cabin in handcuffs and was detained by police for eight hours before being released on bail.
Despite allegations Campbell was 'abusive' to BA staff and spat at a police officer, the model maintains BA asked her to leave the plane after she realised her bags were missing.
Her spokesperson said at the time: 'Once on the plane, she was told one bag was missing.
'British Airways decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight and called the police, and forcibly ejected her.
'So far as we are aware BA have still failed to offer any explanation as why her bag went missing.'
Although there has been no official confirmation, BA is understood to have imposed a lifetime ban on the supermodel.
Her spokeswoman said: 'Naomi has been flying with BA for nearly 30 years and has been a good customer. She hopes this can be resolved amicably.'
The offense of assaulting a constable carries a maximum sentence of six months in prison and/or a fine of up to £5,000.
Using threatening, abusive words or behavior to cabin crew carries a maximum penalty of £2,500 and disorderly conduct likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress is punishable by a fine of up to £1,000.
