Nano speedy and Iphone 16 pro specifically

Hello all -

I am trying to decide in the Murakami collection if a nano speedy will work for me. Love both the black and the white cw.

I know some people can get their phones in a nano, I wanted to know if anyone specifically has a Nano speedy and an IPhone 16 pro (not the Max) and if it fits. The 16 pro I have measures 5 15/16” without a case lengthwise. The nano is 6.3 inches. So I know it will fit inside, getting it in and out is my concern.

Anyone have this exact combination that could let me know your experience? I’ve searched the threads, and I see other phones that fit comparing measurements, but none with the 16 pro Unfortunately I can’t go to a boutique to try a nano.

Any help appreciated!!!

Thanks so much @raspberrysyrup! I haven’t seen the new Murakami nano dimensions yet, but at least your same Iphone as mine goes in and out comfortably in a nano. I really appreciate your help. :idea:

it will have the same dimensions as the current nano. mines the older model which i think was just a little taller, but the same width (if i remember correctly). but it goes in smooth regardless

I am thinking the same with my next phone. Tbh I wait if Apple makes a flip phone so it could fit my smaller/ mini bags 😂

Back in the summer, I went to Fashionphile and made a few purchases. I actually almost bought the og mini speedy hl from the 2003 Multicolor collection. My IPhone 12 Pro did fit with the case on. I believe the current nanos are bigger than the mini speedy hl. I have the 16 pro now and it’s about the same size as my 12.

Between a bag and a phone, I really need my iPhone ProMax as my eyesight isn't what it used to be. Sometimes I even need to read a legal document on the go so the screen real estate is essential.

So for really small bags, I prefer Chanel WOC or the Chanel mini 22.

The nano speedy, although I like very much, just isn't something I can comfortably buy. Some ppl carry their phones with their hands, I cannot do that as I'd lose it in a heartbeat.

Thanks so much @HarlemBagLady. It’s hard to live nowhere near a boutique. Measurements say it will fit, but real life experiences like yours are helpful. Happy Monday!

I know @Grande Latte, I was a total Max fan until the 16 - it got so big that I didn’t like the weight or how it felt in my hand. Finally they also put the best camera in the Pro and that let me “downsize” though it isn’t much smaller than my 15 Max. I also don’t carry in my hands - with my rather energetic dog in particular I would lose it, drop it or step on it 😆

The only reason I’m considering the nano speedy (as opposed to another small bag like a WOC, though I do have one, it doesn’t fit enough for me generally), is for the Murakami MC - I want a small bag in the print, and I love this little nano. Even though it’s tiny, it will hold the 5 items I always carry, and according to the helpful folks that have kindly responded here it will also hold my phone.

I’ve adored the MC print for years but didn’t start with LV until after it was released the first time. I like smaller bags these days, but don’t want a 25 (especially not with metal corners). What a “princess and the pea” I am 🤓

I appreciate hearing your experience, often people point out something I hadn’t considered. Like you, I’m trying to be brutally honest with myself about what I will or won’t use before I purchase, though sometimes I have to buy and return as it didn’t work as planned. Hence our massive detective team here at TPF!
