Hi all! I bought the Nano Alma in quartz in March, and I’m pretty upset because the corners of the bag have gotten scuffed. The color is so light that any imperfections are very very noticeable. What should I do? I thought about sending it in for repair but it takes so long and don’t want them to tell me they can’t do anything but change out the learner. I added a photo for reference. I considered getting a leather repair kit to just fill the scuffs but again the color is very specific and it would stand out if it’s not perfect. IMG_6035.jpeg

Yes, this should be a quick touch up with a Q-tip with the exact colour blend, but they don't really do this Hermès style repair, they would just replace the entire bottom, which takes much longer, costs much more, and also is much harder on the bag, creating a new row of holes, etc...

@ryleigha13 sorry to hear that happened to you. Can I ask if you baby your bag or just use it? Either you wouldn’t expect this to happen in less than 6 months. I haven’t really seen anyone else with this issue so not sure what would be the best advice. If you took it into the store because it is less than a year old, only half a year they should be able to do something right? Maybe give them a call and see what they say? Please keep us updated on what you decide to do. Hope it works out for you.

Epi is leather right? I think they will be able to repair leather products.

May I ask how did the leather chip? As I have a nano alma quartz too. Right now I just use it carefully , usually in front of my body

This happened to one of my Epi almas and I just went and ordered leather paint and used an eyeliner-sized brush. Even if you can find the 100% color match, it won't be noticeable. Try a crafts store or art supply store in your area and bring the bag with to find a match.

It never happened to ANY of my other ones
Yeah I haven’t seen this happen before. It looks like the leather is peeling? Or colour coming off in the calf section of the bag. Are you able to take it to the store to see if anything can be done. Either way, I know how you feel. Especially since you take such great care of your bags too.

Oh no :crybaby:so sorry to hear that. It seems maybe the quartz is more prone to it than other epi colours? So strange as I’ve never known epi to have this happen. Not sure if you can bring it back to store since it’s been less than a year?
I guess the edge is just regular leather with paint, not the EPI that we thought of

You can bring it back to the store. I have 2 epi leather bags sent to LV store after sales repair service 5 weeks ago.

LV after care service will be able to repair epi leather. My Expert Care Advisor is very helpful. I have an epi LV Riviera currently repair in progress.
