Hello, ladies!

So besides my love of purses, shoes, and jewelry, I have been in love with dance for over 20 years. This year I have finally decided to take the plunge and open my own studio! I am in the midst of researching/writing a business plan, but I need a name. I will teach ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, and modern for all ages.

My two favorites are:
Allegro Dance Academy --or--
Prima Dance Academy

Vote for your favorite or give me some feedback. Thanks!!

"Prima" and "Allegro" - they both seem a little cliche to me, kwim?

Even the "Academy" part is overused. Prima Dance or Allegro Dance are catchier.

Maybe something more personal, quirkier? Even Eponine Dance sounds... cooler. Prima and Allegra sound very dated...

Sorry to ramble! Long time dancer here... lol. I'm so excited for you, btw.

Hum is there meaning behind the name? I like how Prima sounds

Prima means "first" in Italian and Allegro means "fast". Both are ballet/dance terms. In my neck of the woods, it's actually cheesey to use your personal name, so I'm going for something artistic but simple.

Thanks for the advice, everyone!

Allegro sounds masculine IMO, but Allegra sounds like medicine :P

Between the two, I like Prima better. My dance studio growing up was named after my instructor (the owner). It was just called XXXXX XXXXX's School of Dance.
