Michael Kors N/S or E/W?

The e/w looks better on you. I have over 10 n/s and 1 e/w, so n/s is my preference overall. It kinda depends on the color for me. My only e/w is a red hippie grommet because its super busy and n/s looked crazy in red. I did buy the same bag in black in n/s because it wasn't as in your face.
The ns looks a little too big on you. You mentioned before that the ew wasn't as visually appealing and I agree. So, there is a dilemma. You returned the ns before so I say go with the ew......
Maybe the E/W suits me better?
Which do you think?
It's not just about looks, much of it depends on your needs. Do have more use for a larger bag like the N/S?? Do you have kids and can use it as carry all? Or diaper bag? Do you travel a lot?? The N/S I believe is great as a travel carry on the plane, or if you work in an office and have to take your laptop to work, or go to college and can use it as a book bag?
But if you DON'T have to lug a lot around with you, the E/W is definitely the way to go, and it can carry almost as much without looking so over encumbering. All depends on your needs and your life style. Only you can answer that. For me, it's not just about looks. Hope that helps! Enjoy it, what ever you choose!

Totally agree! What will be the function of this bag and were you looking to buy a bigger bag so you could lug things around that don't fit into the E/W? If so I would go with the N/S. If you were looking to see which bag looked better on your frame I would go with the E/W

I'm 5 feet 11 inches tall and the n/s Hamilton tote does not look huge on me. In fact, it fits me perfectly. As for the OP, I do think the e/w looks better on your frame. But if you need or want a bigger bag to carry extra things, then the n/s is a beautiful bag for that. I, personally, don't use my n/s totes every day...only when I have extra things to carry. My large Selmas are my every day handbags.
LOL Cinthia!! Now, I like large bags & being tall, I can carry it off. But the bottom line is how will it be used & what the OP is comfortable carrying. It's really all about function. If she's not going to carry a lot of stuff, a really large tote would not be necessary. Like Ubo, I don't carry my N/S everyday. As an everyday bag, the E/W would probably be a better choice.

Like I've said quite a few times before, I think the N/S is so stunning every time I see it on the shelf. I purchased it a few weeks ago, then returned it because it felt big... But yet I still think its stunning every time I see it at the store
and want it.
Its not a matter of needing extra space at all. My Dark Dune E/W still has extra space after I pack it up. I'm pretty sure I want the N/S to work for me so much JUST because I love the looks of it
I've went back and forth so many times between the sizes thinking "It doesn't matter if it looks big, if I like it I'm going to carry it!"... then back to "If I feel like it looks awkward I absolutely will not feel good carrying it."
Hearing your opinions helped so much!! The looks of the bag and how you feel when you are carrying it truly do go hand and hand. Last night I ordered the E/W in the beautiful classic black color I love so much. I know I will with out a doubt use it regularly.
I'm just going to have to repeat to myself EVERY SINGLE TIME I see the N/S version "Yes, its gorgeous, but it just doesn't work for me!". I want my purse to compliment my outfit not overwhelm it. When I pull the N/S off the shelf its kind of what it does. I won't use it if I feel like I'm making a spectacle of myself... I don't want people to see me coming and their first reaction is "Whoa... Why is her bag so big?!". I want "Whoa... That is a beautiful bag. It really compliments her."
I should have listened to my kids the million times I've picked it up and tried it on in the store and asked if it looked ok "Mom that bag is HUGE!"
