Mystery ring

Hi dolls,

i have received a beautiful ring as a gift and i am wondering if you ladies could help me to identify it.
it is made of 18K yellow gold and sterling silver, set with diamonds and a large smoky quartz. It has all the gold and silver hallmarks plus a 'signature' S/SA , S177 G, D043

It has a very similar style as Sevan Bicakci, but as far as i am informed, he makes his rings from 24k gold...

Any help is highly appreciated!

thanks for your comments! no, actually the whole ring is made of yellow gold, i guess the shadow under the silver work makes it look different..yes, i thought also SA for South Africa...

It looks Turkish or Indian. Both countries make this style of rings, I have several, it's one of favorite styles.
