Travel mystery dinner

Not sure what your expectations are, but the murder mystery dinners up here are really just theatre shows while you eat, and then at the end based on what is shown you choose who you think is the killer. Acting is usually pretty cheesy, but as long as you're okay with that kind of style it's okay.
I've been to murder mystery dinners in LA where you actually mingle and sit with actors, except you don't know who is an actor and who isn't. My husband and I totally thought we figured out who was acting, only to find out that the "killer" was sitting at our table (someone we thought was a real guest) and the winner was also our table (someone we thought was an actor!). Now I thought that was a lot of fun. I just didn't want to get your hopes up if you've been to one similar to the one in LA and was expecting the same up in the Bay.
