My Workhorse Barenia Birkin: Pictures

When I was offered a 35 cm Barenia Birkin with PHW a couple of years ago, I grabbed it. Then came the dilemma, to baby the bag... or to use the bag.

I chose to use it, a lot. I've carried it in rain, snow, sunshine -- everywhere. It's my go to bag. I should change my screen name to bareniabirkin, instead of etoupebirkin, but it's too late for that.

Many have asked for pictures of my unbabyed beauty. Here are some indoor and outdoor pics. She is NOT pristine, but her patina is gorgeous.

All I ever use on her is Lexol wipes.

And yes, she smells G L O R I O U S ! ! !

Love your barenia birkin!! such a beautiful patina. Looks yummy.
I own a barenia/toile birkin and kelly in barenia leather. my kelly is in an "ugly" stage at the moment. The leather look a bit dull. May be need time to develop its patina? What is your thought?

EB - I am not a fan of dressing up a birkin but your pom poms and horse hair thingy (can't remember the official H name) are just icing on the Barenia cake.

LOVE this entire look!!! (and thanks for the reminder that bags are meant to be carried, not kept in a display case ;) )

This is bagporn!!!! Holy cow this is one beautiful Birkin! However you're treating her, you're definitely doing it right. Excuse me while I go wipe the drool of my chest... Damn, she's stunning. Carry in pride — and never let her go! And eh, please give her a kiss from me;)

She's simply beautiful! Love the whole look. I just received my first smooth skin bag and I've been afraid to do anything, afraid I may scratch her. Seeing how lovely yours look may just make me brave enough to start using her. :biggrin:
