I would try to send it in. The garuntee is actually only for about 3 years on non leather bags but if you explain that it hasnt even been used in awhile and it still turned yellow (so not your fault) they'll probably send it in. I sent in a bag one because it was fraying on the top and they couldnt fix it so they sent me a store credit for like $235. It's worth a try.
