i was a little hesitant to post this here as it's not nearly as impressive as many of the other gorgeous pieces that i've seen in this subforum, but a fellow TPF member convinced me to share!
my parents purchased this for me to commemorate a very important milestone for me, so as a result it really means a lot to me. i really wanted something special to remember it by--something that would last me for years and years to come.
the photo really doesn't do it justice it at all--the setting is just gorgeous, at least to me, and the sides are raised so that there's a space beneath the round part for light to enter through. we picked this up last night--i've been looking for the right item to purchase for nearly 5 months now, but this was worth the wait!

. i mixed some purple mac pigment into clear polish for the base, and used sally hansen's quick dry polish in white for the actual stamp.
it's been keeping me occupied all day which is great since it's been a slow day at work--which i thought i'd enjoy but i don't really know what to do with myself.
