With pony hair, calfskin with the fur on, you just want to avoid rubbing it the wrong way (against the fur grain) as that will eventually make the fur fall out from wear.

The box looks great carried by the handles in your hand and that will keep the fur from rubbing up against you and prolong it's loveliness.

Congrats, Grace! It's an unpredictable choice for a first bag :P
Rocksteady is right about being careful with the rubbing... aside from that, rock your new Balenciaga!

Thanks everyone! I am wearing it today and I adore it.

Ilovepurses07-I think that b/c of the color, I will be using this bag only during the colder months. I have never seen one in pink before, so I can't tell you if it is only a winter bag. From afar, you cannot tell that it is made of hair, just that it has a soft shine to it.

Rocksteady and Slinks-I had a feeling that the hair would be a bit hard to keep from rubbing off. I reallylike the look of this box when held by the hand, so I will likely only be wearing it like that. Thanks for the warning!
