I have long teased my husband that he had until our 20th wedding anniversary to find me a two carat solitaire. My original diamond is a gorgeous 1 carat, and I never want to let it go...but it can certainly have a new friend. 
Long story short, I have a beautiful new 2 ct. in a halo setting that we had made by a local jeweler. The diamonds in the halo are set in the top view and in the side. I can't help staring at the ring. It seems enormous to me! My hubby came in a full year ahead of schedule, although this gift was timed for the 20th anniversary of when he proposed.
