Hey girls,
As some of you know I went to Vegas for a few days. My trip was INSANE!!!! I stood in the beautiful Italian inspired Bellagio. There was a strip of designer goodies, there was Chanel, Prada, Gucci, YSL, Hermes, and so on and so on.
My first stop was Chanel. Oh what a beautiful store, not to many bags, they are more into the clothing there. I didn't pick anything up!
My second stop was Gucci. OMG I fell inlove with a black Lizard handbag. I don't know the name of it but it's mines when I visit Gucci this week! I purchased 2 beautiful pairs of shoes though. Can't really buy with DH breathing down my neck!
My third stop was at Prada, I was trying to find these beige espadrilles they have but no luck.
My fourth and last stop was at Hermes!!! As soon as I walked in right in front of me in their showcase was a BIRKIN!!!!!! who said these people don't have Birkins!!!! IT was stunning but not me. It was a 30cm Eggplant PH. It was an order that was canceled! I swear the SA gave it to me and let me roam the store with it. It was so funny, I had my BJ Birkin in one hand and the Purple one in the other! It was funny. After a while I gave it back to the SA where there stood a desperate woman awaiting for me to decline. I didn't want to purchase the bag I just wanted to torture the woman awaiting. As soon as she held it I thought she was going to freak or go postal or something she was screaming saying she didn't care it was purple she wanted it. Soon she got on the phone dialing her husband. She pleaded and pleaded and pleaded until her husband gave up. My favorite was when she told him he didn't have to purchase a gift for 5 years. HAHA I have told my husband this story 100 times! But it worked and she was so happy. I'm glad she got her bag.
On the other hand. I had the nicest sweetest grama like sales rep. Her name is Ronnie Taylor she was so so so so so so so sweet! My husband kept saying she was sucking up but I have to much faith in people. She was a sweetheart. She thought me a lot and took her time to chat with me. I must have spent about an hour talking to her. She told me that the Barina Birkin was discontinued. And that the Vibrato Kelly was also being discontinued because it was to difficult to make and they were not selling enough. I asked her about the Birkin myth and she told me that most stores are really run by list but most of them have one or 2 Birkins secretly hiding in the back of the store. You have to be an eye catcher in order to bring them out. We talked and talked of so many things that I can't remember right now!!! All I want to say is that the Thread posted in the Hermes section about the Sales Reps. in Vegas being rude was completely untrue! They were all so so so sweet. I actually liked that store more than my home base store.
