Right after the holidays MK had one of their boutique exclusives go on final sale. I bought the wallet first to see how the material wore and 4 months later it wore so well I decided to get the bag. She went on clearance for 1/3 the price so I had to snag her!!!

But I had just joined the gym for the first time time since I was 18 and spent a lot of money. My goal was to loose X amount of pounds.

Well the goal I set for myself was this - loose my first 10 pounds and then I get to carry her.

Well these days when you go to the gym and do weights and cardio the scale means very little.

So 2 months later or 2 and a half I go to the gym nurse and she examines me.

I lost weight every where including an inch on my waist. I brought my BMI down by 5%. I lost weight every where overall and gained 7 pounds of lean muscle and got rid of 3 pounds fat. Overall fat loss - 10 pounds!

Look what I took out of her dust bag on Monday! Been carrying her all week so far and she is one of my favorites. I no longer want an LV Speedy.. She is smushy soft distressed leather.

Here she is.. My reward to myself!

Oh, very nice - what a story you tell, I was hanging on every word - and this MK bag really rocks big time, seriously. VERY nice purchase you made!

I am thinking about buying something I would have to lose 50 pounds to wear ... but boy, would that reward be worth it (it's a Bottega Veneta Corset/Bustier in woven red leather, just TDF) ... I know I can do it if I just do it 10 pounds at a time...

I may use you as my guidance counselor! :D

Thank you! That is such high praise as I love to write. That is a passion for me. (as well as purses ;) )

I am SO loving this bag! I might purse the matching wristlet which is sold out everywhere. sigh... She is sitting with me on my bed right now with my 2 year old son.

Your rewards sounds amazing. I did finally see those in person with your voice in my head. LOL. They are truly soft and so very light... Oh MY!

You need to set small goals in order to get to the larger ones. With nice rewards of course. ;)

You've done wonders, 10lbs is amazing and the way that you are doing it is great.

I have rewarded myself with jewellry when I have reached goals but they have been more of an academic nature rather than weight/fitness ones. I do martial arts and dance and being fit is a reward in itself IMO, any extras are a bonus ;)

I am so proud of you, and I love that bag (might go on a search for one myself!).

I, too, am on a weight loss quest; I want to drop 60 lbs and so far I've lost 17--I'm using the Lose It! app, which really helps--though it is so depressing to see how many calories are in a Tanq & Tonic :shocked:. My goal is to feel good about myself again and get back into my skinnier clothes (but I do love your bag, hmmmm :graucho: ...).

Thank you! 17 so far is awesome!!! You know honestly for me counting calories does not work. I go to the gym 3 times a week for 90- 2 hours and do my routine. I eat whatever I fancy just smaller amounts. we have a tanq and ginger ale almost every night with dinner.. ;-) I don't deprive myself just cut back. I eat fresh fruits and veggies and still have my burgers and chocolate. :-)

Keep it up!!!! You can do it...!!!!!!

Omg!! It is indeed so freakin cool! Awesome taste Indiaink! I just looked that up and it is soooooo pretty.. You can totally do it...

Don't you just LOVE the leather on MK? I have a couple and they are so soft and smooshy compared to others.
I am getting the Jet Set Tote in Zinnia next week at the Macy's F&F sale.
What will you get for your NEXT goal?

Thank you! Yes I am over there and LV often! :D. I have yet to find a brand I am truly devoted too. I like a bag or two from each designer. The leather on the MK is lovely. I used a shoes box top as a base shaper for my bag! Lol.

The jet set is lovely and very soft. I am not sure yet what my next thing will be... Aside from cheap vintage bags that I am learning to restore I am not buying anything for now. I am going to enjoy what I have.

But that bag you got is TDF and you will enjoy it for years to come!
