Firstly, thank you to all who voted for my poll between Omega Aqua Terra and Rolex Oyster Perpetual. I have finally decided on Aqua Terra.

This is my second Omega and I think it's a beautiful watch. Here are the reasons why I love it:

1. Metal polishing and finishing is really good
2. Good weight
3. Brushed finished bracelet makes it less prone to scratches
4. Diamond markers stands out against the teak grey dial (all diamond bezel is out of my budget however I don't mind putting in the money on an all diamond bezel Rolex in the future ;)). Oh, the grey is really unique, I'm glad it's not black or blue which is more common.
5. Quartz - I just love the fact that it's low maintenance and keeps accurate time
6. It's an everday watch as I don't have to baby it and worried about it being scratched like my Rolex
7. I bought it at the old discount of 20% instead of now 10%

As it's supposed to be a his and her watch to commemorate our 5th wedding anniversary, my husband is still waiting to get his, hopefully on Monday. I have to track it down as Omega has downsized their authorised dealer where I stay, it's down from 5 to 2. Men's size is not available in the 2 ADs. My colleague who will be flying to the capital this Monday will collect it on our behalf. I shall post more pictures once we have both watches.

Meantime, here are the pictures taken from the Blackberry....shall post better pictures taken from the camera this weekend.

kohl_mascara - Yes, I agree, I like that it's sporty casual and yet elegant...not as masculine as the men's watch. I can wear it to work and on weekends. Love the size too, 30mm.

beautiful
I like the idea of the grey as you said different from black or blue
I actually like just the diamond markers rather than diamond bezel....more subtle

 Grey is not as common as blue or black. the diamond markers and I think diamond bezel is rather too flashy for daily wear.

OOOh I love the diamond markers! I have the same watch, but minus the diamonds! Its a great watch, I've been wearing mine since Jan 2010 and I agree, the brushed metal really is scratch resistant! Mine still looks super new!

Congratulations! Wowee your watch is gorgeous. I love this with the diamond markers - I haven't seen this version (without the diamond bezel) before. Beautiful!

And of course, Happy Anniversary :smile1:
