My prong is bent on my engagement ring...

Hello ladies
I just noticed one of the prongs on my ring are bent. I would like to get it fixed asap but I have no idea what to expect on cost. The center stone is a round 2 carat stone with 6 prongs set in white gold. If anyone can give me an idea of what to expect I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't know how much they will charge you, but it is not much. If you go to the jeweler you purchased this ring they will probably do this for free. Is it possible you can go back to them?

Honestly, if a jeweler can do it while you wait - which he/she should - there really shouldn't be a charge at all. We don't charge for something like that irregardless if the ring was purchased from us or not. Good Customer Service. (If there is a charge associated with straightening the prong, it should be very minimal).

This happened to me last year. I had to leave it for a week, and I think it cost about $75. HTH.

Depends how badly it's bent from being on the stone. It really will vary.

A prong bent on my engagement ring. I took it to a random jeweler that specializes in wedding-engagement sets. They fixed it on the spot, and didn't charge me anything.
