My palm springs mini defects

Hi guys,
Was so excited to receive my psm from LV today but..... i will leave the pics for you guys to judge.
Not sure if the corners should look like that..

Well all these are still acceptable till i saw this ..


The mark and stain on the ghw which cant be wiped off.

Have called LV for an exchange, hopefully everything is okay.

I get that you are annoyed with the canvas fold close to the zipper (although I believe that this is pretty common with the palm springs). But the rest of the things you mentioned seem very minimal to me.
You’ve already decided that you want to exchange the bag so I hope the next one is to your liking.

I have the PSM in reverse mono and the canvas fold you’re talking about at the zipper is normal I think. Don’t think it’s a tear, looks clean cut. I assume its there so the canvas can go around the border smoothly. Can anyone attest to this?

It would be better if you could return this one and purchase the replacement in-store so you can inspect. The next one may or may not be much better. The scratches on the hardware would bother me but this is something you deal with because of returns.

I've bought/returned 3 palm spring minis, they all have this issue.... The 1 I decided to keep only 1 side was like that.

Please let me know what you think...the front is perfect but the back I just can’t help but get annoyed... i also can see glue residue between the top handle and the zipper...is this normal?

I just bought a PSM today via my SA. She said she tried to get the best piece for me and she said the rest are not balanced. So it seems like PSM seems not easy to get a good piece?
I hope that mine is good when it arrives.

My PSM has the little cuts, too. They are not unusual for PSM.

I think this bag either has a habit of having ”flaws” or people look super hard to find them. I’m sure if I looked hard enough on mine I would find stuff, too.

I hope you get a very good one that you will like. Please post photos here when it arrives. I have actually watched hundreds of youtube videos on PSM and checked photos on IG just to assess if I can see the same flaws I see in mine. I guess the ones in IG are almost always made to appear perfect...

Based on the photos, I think your bag is good. I can see it’s slightly uneven at the back part but very slight and looks so much better than mine which is also made in France. I am still unsure if I will request an exchange because it’s not available online and I will have to drive 5 hours to try the nearest store...
