Ok... I don't know much about tattoos, so how do they get it exactly that way on your neck? Especially with your grandmother's own hand? Do they make a template or is it freehand?
I think your grandmother's name is wonderfully sentimental. I like the air one too. When I was reading Angels and Demons, I thought about getting one of them because they are so neat, I'm glad that you did it!

i brought the piece of paper in where my grandma wrote her name on, and they xerox copy it, and they do an ink transfer onto your skin and then they just trace over it with the needle. it's pretty easy actually. hahaha. well i shouldn't say that but you don't really need to be a fantastic artist, just a steady hand... i never ask for them to draw me something on the spot. i always bring them something on paper, since i know exactly what i want.
very cool tatties! my gf's are all into getting inked, but i have am chicken when it comes to any kind of pain! i'll just live vicariously through all you inked girls!
