I think they call the suede burgundy. Suede usually scares me, but the dark color doesn't show spots, and if the weather is yucky, just turn the flaps down. I think that touch of suede really classes it up. It is such an interesting color, sometimes it looks like a dark taupe, and others it reminds me of an elephant,. I actually thought that was the color at first. I think it will go with quite a bit of different colors.
