I love the colors, and I too look for and prefer the veins - at least some veininess. It's like loving marble or granite or limestone for its natural look. The fakes do not have that natural veiny quality.
Some of the authentic bags don't have that veiny quality either, I like that too - in black especially. Or black only, maybe. Anyway, with the colors, especially the lighter ones, that veininess just says "Balenciaga" to me.
Your bag is gorgeous, I haven't worked up the courage to invest in a lighter color bag yet, I'm just too hard on things.
