hi ladies, I wanted to get some feed back from you in regards to the hardware. I just received this beautiful bag in the mail and when I opened it.. the GG hardware bothers me. It looks like it is rusting. It is only the emblem that is showing signs of wear, but everywhere else looks fine. I am worried over time, it will get worst... and I have been waiting for this bag for so long. I ordered it off back order because I missed it when it was available in stores :( I don't want to order it again and have the same thing happen again. It is currently sold out in all stores too (I live in Canada). Should I just keep it? or re order :( image.jpgimage.jpg

It is mean't to look aged. I think it looks cool. It is not meant to be overly shiny or blingy. :)

First of all congrats on your purchase. Your bag is beautiful!! I'm also in Canada and I know how frustrating it is to wait for your bag for so long...the bag looks fine to me but if it concerns you I suggest you take into the store and speak to an SA and ask for their feedback. Good luck!

Mine all look very antiqued but bright. I have a medium marmont and the mini camera bag. Both of mine are crisp, gold and slightly aged but no spots or dark marks

I am happy to hear that it is supposed to look like this. I haven't had a chance to visit a local boutique, therefore when I saw it, I was so surprised. Mine has dark spots all over the hardware.

Thank you so much :) yes we get the short end of the stick when it comes to inventory.

May i know is the chevron embroidered on the bag is white in color? Is the thread very obvious like this picture?

Hi!! The thread is not white. I know the picture is quite misleading online but if you see the pics of my bag in the first post, it is exactly how it looks like in real life. It is super black. If anything, I think the leather version's threads are more visible compared to the suede. Hope this helps :) enjoy the bag!! It is quite the beauty esp with the hardware.
