Hi!

I cannot be the only one on here who has fallen for the super cute designs of Simon Miller?
I know the Bonsai bags has been available for quite some time, but I just ordered the Bonsai 30 in natural nubuck leather with a black handle, I love the boho feel of the soft, light leather, it will be perfect for summer, and I am so exited for it to arrive!

Please post pictures of your Simon Miller bags! Are they as beautiful in real life as online? And if you have the bucket, please tell me how it holds up? Do you have the leather- or the nubuck version? What size (15, 20, 30)? Does it hold it's shape at all? Have you treated the leather/nubuck in any way to avoid stains? How do you store it? What type of outfits do you pair it with? Anything else to think of?

This lovely "little" thing is on it's way to me as I write this! I hope it's as beautiful in real life as in pictures, as I've never seen one other than online!

And please, if you got one (or more), if possible, post pictures! Simon Miller bags seems to be quite unpopular(?) on this site and I'd love to see some more of these beauties posted on here!

Yes of course, I'll add some pictures and let you know my initial thoughts when it arrives! It should be here in a few days! Although I won't start using it for a few more months! We are in the middle of the winter where I live (Sweden), and I view it more as a spring and summer bag! So I'll have to patiently wait just a little longer before I can take her out to see the sun! :)

Here it is! :blush: It is much, much heavier than I imagined it to be, but seems to be very well made and great quality.

The nubuck is amazingly soft and the bag looks beautiful (but has two minor - very minor - flaws!). The acrylic handles are not the most comfortable in the crook of the arm, nor to hold, but I'm totally OK with that as they are such a cool contrast to the almost velvety nubuck! I don't think it will become an every day bag for me, due to the reasons above, and because of how sensitive the nubuck is, but that wasn't my intention when ordering anyway, but it will definately be fun to bring it out once in a while during spring and summer! I am really happy with my purchase!

Thank you so much, I am very happy with it! And I agree that the original price is quite high for "what you get" (Not talking about quality here, but limited use, etc, at least for me.) and as a student I would not have been able to justify buying it at full price, but I found mine at the Outnet for around 400€ I believe, It's now sold out unfortunately, but I saw that MyTheresa had the all black one in size 30 for 50% off, I double checked it right now, it's still there! It's 462€ and then they give you an additional 20% off on all sale items! :) If you like that one, now's the time!

I got the puffin, it's just a square bag that's really flat (not like how they are shown in pics). I enquired about it as it did not have the silver logo as photographed. When I asked CS they first said it was the way it was photographed and then admitted that the bags don't come with silver logo only their samples for photographing purposes have the silver on them... and that all other bags say it's embossed logo only, EXCEPT the one I purchased :|.
Added it came from Korea instead of the US (no big deal but I assumed they were US made?) with a large scrape on the handle. I got a 15% discount for the scrape and they weren't willing to return as I'm international, false advertising = not cool.
