It's finally here!!! I special ordered it and went to pick it up yesterday! So pretty and I love it! Thanks to all who helped me decide between this and the Omega. The more I considered them, it became clear that my heart was set on this and that I shouldn't compromise. So, here she is! How do you like? :graucho: And now, I have a question from those who own Rolexes. I don't like my watch to be snug so I left a bit of room on the bracelet (just how I used to wear my other watch). But, this watch is CONSTANTLY moving upward (see my pic) and it's driving me crazy. I did have them remove one more link to try it out but it did the same thing. Is this unavoidable?

unavoidable esp on a larger/heavier watch. unless you make it skin-tight snug, it's something most of us deal with. just a few adjustments throughout the day - and you can spend the time admiring your new watch! congrats and enjoy!!!

GORGEOUS! it looks great on you!! I know exactly what you are talking about and that is just the way Rolex seems to fit on the wrist. When I got my Rolex I remember thinking the same thing but I have noticed in pictures that they sit the same way on everyone. The size looks how I like it, not too tight and not too loose that the face rolls underneath.
Enjoy it!!!

I always feel a watch should fit just snug enough to be able to easily slide over the wrist bone and just about 1" up the arm. So, yours looks about right in the picture. Any tighter and I find them uncomfortable. Congrats btw, that is a fabulous choice you made!

I love it, enjoy the beautiful watch. I have the same problem with all my watches, regardless whether it's small or mid size, light or heavy, snug or loose. It slides so I have to adjust it several times a day. Don't fret over it, just enjoy it.

Gorgeous watch & yes my datejust does exactly the same & so do all my other watches as I wear them a little bit loose, my Chanel doesn't as it's a bit more of a snug fit, if it's driving you crazy the only option really is to have it made smaller & then this shouldn't happen.

I made my ladies size more fitted at one point and it still will turn to the side a bit if there is any room underneath for the watch to move and you need there to be, having it skin tight so it is pinching your wrist is the only way mine wouldn't turn at all and that is not comfortable at all!

Your wirst is too small, the big watches were designed for larger wristes.
:-/
It the same with the Chanel 2.55 - it always moves and won't stay on the shoulder. Fashion ....

Thanks everyone, for the congrats!

Lovely - you are right. I do have tiny wrists. It's always been an issue when trying to buy bangles, etc. I didn't realize the mid-size would do this. THat being said, I still would have opted for it over the ladies size. I was thinking maybe to move a few of the links from the top to the bottom but don't know if that would help any. :thinkin:
