Hello fellow bag lovers! I was so excited to add the wine coloured empreinte speedy and matching wallet to my collection. I even got a bag charm for her. I asked my new CA for heat stamping as I wanted my initials on the Emilie wallet. Well, I got home and the letter “S” is upside down! I’m really bummed about it. I’m including some close ups of the heat stamping so you can see what I’m referring to. I’ve never experienced this with the heat stamping on my other pieces. Has anyone else experienced this? Can you fix a heat stamp issue? Will LV exchange an item that’s been stamped if it’s been done incorrectly? Thanks in advance if anyone has any advice or guidance.

Makes it truly one-of-a-kind. Although I can see why most people wouldn't be happy with it.
You should take it back, they should give you a new one. It clearly is messed up.
There was a time when the stamp was so painfully off-center on a luggage tag, that it did hurt. The SA only showed us very quickly and rushed us out. Needless to say, we took it back and they redone it on a new one.

I would take it back. Otherwise, every time you open that wallet you'll be reminded that it's wrong.

Once a long time ago I had a wallet heat stamped. It looked atrocious. The SA tried to rush me out of the store as well, but I didn’t budge and firmly asked for a new wallet. They processed an exchange and I took home a new wallet, this time without heat stamping.

I guess they destroyed the other one.

Happened to me, I asked for a heat stamp of my initials on my zoe wallet, the SA rushed me out after the procedure as well, when I went back home n opened the box the first thing I saw was a huge scratch on the outer flap leather that wasnt there before the heat stamping, I was so sure it happened during the heat stamping process, the next morning I went back n asked for an exchange in which they refused at first, they offered to repair it for free instead, to which I refused, I told them if I send it for repair I would be without a wallet to use for god knows how long n it was their fault tht this happened, in the end they gave me a new one :doh:

Just wondering if this "new CA" did it themselves or let the specialist do it. I'm always told by mine that they prefer the heat stamp specialist do it in order to avoid situations like yours. Often I have to leave the item and pick it up later but that's fine with me. Anyway, please take that back and have them fix that !! Your wine Empreinte items are too gorgeous!!
