I have been fascinated by this brand for a few years now. I wanted to buy my BF one, but he has slender wrists and wasn't sure he could pull off such a large watch. (I ended up getting him a Rolex).

But the Panerai stuck in my mind and 2 years later I am the proud owner of a PAM 112. It comes with a black calf strap and a black rubber logo strap. Even before I got the watch, I ordered two third-party straps. One is mustard calf with black stitching and the other is "LV" leather with yellow stitching. I'm not sure if it's really Louis Vuitton, but , as you can see in the photo, it's pretty close.

I am loving this big watch!

For some reason, I am really into watches. Couldn't care less about having a fancy diamond watch, but I love a well-made sports model. I'd like to get a Radomir next.

I love your watch, I was going to get the 312 panerai, but when I tried it on it was soo big for my wrist. I ended up getting a ss daytona, but I must get a 048 pam one day!!
I love the strap colours you have chosen!

Nope - it's a 44mm. I don't have particularly "ladylike" wrists :)
My BF has very slender wrists and I think it looks pretty good on him, too. Although I definitely prefer the new straps to the big black one -- that was a little much.

Personally i like 112 more then 000(base logo), and i think you picked the right choice. Simple appearance of 112 plus the sandwich dial and transparent back just beautiful to look at.

(im 6'2 with 6.5 wrist, so i guess it would look good on your bf too)

Here it is on my BF. I think it looks massive...but in a good way.

@CX827, I agree with you regarding the 112 over the Base, I really like the sandwich dial better.
