My new east/west flap, but...

My east/west flap is finally here today. I love it. It's very light and leather is very soft. The red color is not too showy either. But when I examed the bag, I found out that both sides of the leather joint of cream strip on the flap is a bit torn. It looks like two pieces of leather strip are not joining well. The right side looks better than the left side. Does it happen to anyone who owns this bag? I definitely not want to return it, but I might consider to exchange it if this issue happens only to me. What ya all think?

I agree with everyone else, but hearing about all these problems with bags lately is making me a little . If it already has issues definitely do not keep it, you'll never be able to love it. I'm sorry this has happened to you, a new Chanel should be a joyful experience.
