Recently I made a post about ordering a cushion cut diamond via Bluenile as my E-ring upgrade. Eventually I decided against it as I dislike the watery crushed ice look.

Instead I decided to get a emerald cut diamond from Bluenile and what a great decision. The service is beyond amazing. All of the staff has been so helpful and patient even though I changed my mind 100 times and bugged them with daily messages.

My previous E-ring was a round, 0.90, light brown, I1-I2.

My new E-ring is an emerald cut, 0.80, G, vvs2, 1.40 l/w ratio.

I am crazy in love with this. It flashes like crazy and I love the large facets.
Now the fun part - pictures! I am wearing a size 7 (got chubby fingers 😂).

Btw big thanks to you Ame - your advice on how to take a good picture was really useful.

Initially I did have a bit of shrinkage as you mentioned but I love this SO much so instead of upgrading later to a 1 ct I think I am just going to reset it.
