Hi!
I'm so excited to share my new Cartier four diamond yellow gold love bangle and Van Cleef and Arpels mini frivole bracelet in yellow gold.

I LOVE them together and I would like some opinions...
1) Is the VCA too "delicate" to wear with the LOVE?
2) Do you think the frivole is too "blingy" for everyday?
3) Would you wear them alone or together? Why?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Beautiful! Perfect just like this!:loveeyes::tup:

Congratulations to your bracelets!
Here are my answers:

1) Is the VCA too "delicate" to wear with the LOVE?
- I think there is quite a weight difference between LOVE and VCA bracelet. So when I move my hand, the weight of LOVE would crash onto VCA, quite constantly. (Love may only suffer some surface scratches)
Especially when I prefer all my bracelets to be loosely fit and with a lot of movements.

2) Do you think the frivole is too "blingy" for everyday?
-I think it’s small enough to be wear daily and casually, office and weekend.

3) Would you wear them alone or together?
-I would wear them separately, one on each wrist. I hate the feeling of the thin VCA trapped under the LOVE.

I love both of your bracelets, when I first got my love bracelet in 2010 I used to wear it with the little double love bracelet on a very thin chain and my love bangle would constantly go over the thin chain love bracelet so I stopped wearing them together.
I think if you love them together you should wear them together but for me I wear my love with my Cartier JUC and sometimes I’ll wear my VCA 5 motif bracelets with my stack.

Agree. I usually wear soft with soft and hard with hard. Usually. I don’t like scratches on my love. But go with what you prefer. And you may not mind scratches on the Love. You do you.

Looks-wise, I love a mix of styles. I tend to stick with bangles myself, but on others I appreciate the look of something masculine with something feminine. Makes it more interesting. As for these two in particular, I usually do not like the sweet sizes, they tend to disappear next to other bracelets, but it’s the diamonds on the frivole that give it the “level up” needed to visually justify its place next to the love. Perfect.

2) Do you think the frivole is too "blingy" for everyday?

I am the wrong person to ask about that. Any almond of bling can be justified!!!
I’m a “more is more” kind of person.

3) Would you wear them alone or together? Why?
I love the way they look together, my only concern would be the bracelets getting tangled and or scratched all the time.

lafab may I ask how is your experience with wearing your VCA and Cartier bracelets together?
Hello! If you’re referring to the movement and the potential to scratch here’s what I do…..

I put the VCA on the “tightest” setting and tuck the remaining loose chain under the Cartier…it’s comfortable and does not allow movement. To achieve this your cartier must not be purchased as a loose bangle floating up/down your arm. Hope this helps and happy shopping 😊
