My New Carbotti Hera Bag!

Pfffeewww!!! That was a looooong wait. I finally received the bag after 3 MONTHS of waiting. But, my, it's worth the wait!
I ordered this bag from their website www.carbotti.it. I first saw it on a YouTube video talking about the best alternatives to Hermès Kelly bag.
This bag is hand-made and made-to-order only. You can choose the style, the leather, the color and the color of the lining as well. I chose the tan color (because of the contrast stitching), palmellato leather and fuchsia suede lining. I paid using PayPal and got a confirmation about my order.
In the confirmation email I was told that the bag will be first made and it takes about 8 weeks to receive it. So I ordered the bag on July 16. But because in August people have holiday in Italy, there was a delay. Three months later I received the bag, nicely packaged.
So basically to order the bag is very simple.

Now what I think of the bag:
I loooove it. This pamelatto leather is very sturdy, it's similar to Hermès Epsom leather or Prada's saffiano leather except that it feels and smells more luxurious than Saffiano. The suede lining is very luxurious.
The bag comes with an adjustable shoulder strap, but it doesn't have separate D rings to hook the strap, so you have to hook it on the square rings where the handle is fixed. But I don't mind it. The only thing that I wish they would do is the way they put the handle on the bag. It's put more like a horse shoe instead of a dome if you know what I mean.
Other than that, I'm very satisfied and happy with my purchase
Quality-wise, it's excellent. Much better than that of the premium luxury brands.
Fun facts: The closure and the shape of the flap is patented.

Wow, that is beautiful and I love the contrast stitching with fuchsia lining. I wish some of the others had the contrast stitching. I've never heard of this brand before now. I also like the Erika in the dk brown. It's the only style that comes in that color.
Maybe you could email them and ask the possibility to have contrast stitching with a specific color. Their bags are made-to-order afterall
