I have just purchased the 5à7 in the croc version and I have a feeling I'll really love this bag
. I wasn't sure I was going to like the croc (purchased online), but I'm really pleased with, it's the perfect nuance between shiny and matte and the scales look beautiful. I also have no problem with scratching when closing it. The hook is quite 'hard' so I see there could be problems with the smooth leather version.
However, I can see the problem with the 'shoulder' strap as it slips of easily. You can't expect it to stay up like a Chanel classic flap or reissue, which are normally my go to bags. It's really not often that another brand charms me this much, but Saint Laurent managed to
. And I also really like the fact that I'm capable loving a bag from a lower price point (compared to Chanel).
