I've bought, owned and sold quite a few Soft Calf MJ bags and then went through a Rebecca Minkoff stage, But lately I've found myself missing my Marc bags and really craving some old-school Soft Calf. Here are my latest bargains:

A gorgeous brick red Blake ($185 on Bonanzle!):

And a older style ivory Stella with tan cloth lining ($50 on eBay!!):

It needs a little love, but is in much better condition than I was expecting.

They both arrived yesterday and it feels like Christmas!

welcome back keen!! those are some great finds. the brick red is gorgeous!! nothing beats the brown suede interior of this. and you scored a fantastic deal on that Stella. Congrats!

there's nothing like that original soft calf leather (and suede linings!:drool:)
we were just talking about the "old school" MJ bags today at the boutique
and how wonderfully soft and "unique" each bag was (with all the variations in the leather, no two bags were ever the same!)
