I totally agree. It's probably one of the saddest days of a pet owner's life but you know she's in a better place.

You are so sweet to ask! Every day is a little better. I still miss her of course but you know what? I could swear I saw her little ghost last week, curled up on the sofa. It turned out it was just the way the quilt was folded and the light was shining on it in such a way that it looked like her face---she had a distictive black "diamond" on her nose. It looked so much like she was there that I had to walk right over to the sofa and touch the quilt to make sure. Ever since then I've felt less sad.
