Hi Everyone

I have wanted a sac plat for MONTHS (which is a long time for me to wait for something!) so this weekend I went to LV. I bought the sac plat, and my mother bought the Tulum PM. Thanks to this forum I:

1. made sure both bags were made in France
2. unashamedly asked for boxes
3. asked the SA about the price increase (coming soon, she said)

I didn't like the Tulum at first, but it definitely grew on me. And, you can totally tell that the new monogram canvas is more supple than before.

The SA told me, "Boy, you really know your stuff!" It's all thanks to you guys. :)

Just wanted to share!

I know what you mean. I'm more knowledgeable about handbags since joining this forum. I can walk into any boutique and be confident :D Congrats on the sac plat!

Congrats!

I think I should say that im really pleased this forum has helped you out. But please remember that authentic LV bags can be made in Spain and the USA as well as Paris. This doens't change thhe fact that they are authentic.

yea for you!!!!!!!!!

^^it's a 'thing' some people have - about where it's made. It's not a 'thing' I have personally, IMO the quality standards are going to be equal, in fact, why not support the made in the USA items anyhow!? LOL!

Congrats! I also love the Sac Plat, it's a great work bag.

This is my first time hearing that made in france was preferable to any other country of origin, and I've been collecting for a while now!

Congrats on the sac plat! :flowers:

I can't believe I used to have one and got rid of it! What was I thinking? :shame:

As for wanting bags made in France...we all have our preferences and I say do what works for you and ignore any negative comments.
