JOKING!!!!!!
I just spent a few days in Vegas with my husband to celebrate our 14th anniversary and to attend a trade show. I promised to be good and focused during the trade show...as we did need to get some work done...as long as I got to spend a few minutes in the "cash & carry" section. There was so much to see that to my surprise...I got overwhelmed and was almost ready to throw in the towel. All of a sudden, my eyes lit upon a jeweler with the most fabulous array of rings with semi-precious stones. There must have been a few hundred spread about....each as gorgeous as the next. Then I saw the most "me" of all. I slid it on my finger....and the fit was perfect. Problem...I was certainly not in the market to buy a ring....and was loathe to ask my husband! I called him on his phone and asked him to meet me at this particular booth. When he arrived he commented that he knew he would find me there. He had already seen the jewelry and knew it was right up my alley. I showed him the ring, and was prepared to beg. It was not too expensive...but certainly not necessary! I reminded him how it was similar to a ring I had seen years ago by a designer named "Sevan" that cost $12,000. I mentioned my upcoming birthday. But in the end...it turned out he was planning on buying it for me anyway. I am in LOVE with it! It is not everyone's style....but it is certainly mine! And it was wholesale priced...so quite the bargain in my opinion!
Sorry for the long commentary....just wanted to share the whole story! Jewelry purchases have been few and far between over the last few years, which makes me appreciate this one even more!
Excuse my ugly hands....you would think that I woldn't want to draw attention to them...instead I wear the largest rings I can find!!
