I purchased a GMOP Vintage Alhambra Pendant in Japan three weeks ago. My husband accidentally threw out the original receipt. So upset. I have the COA and original packaging and everything else and can screenshot/print out the purchase on my credit card history.
I guess as a last resort I could also contact the boutique where I purchased in Ginza and ask for a copy?
I’m not sure if this is necessary though. I have heard that to have it serviced I need the original receipt. I want to send it in to have the chain lengthened. Will they give me a hard time? It’s not like it was purchased secondhand, as I’m the original owner but it was purchased overseas. I’m in SoFlo.

If I ever need to change the motif out or have the pendant serviced years down the road will I run into issues? I don’t intend to sell, I will pass it down to my daughter.

I’ve never been asked for a receipt for service. I have for insurance though. Depending on your relationship they may give you another. Supposedly they don’t, but I even lost a COA once and they did replace for me. Shhhh!

Receipt is not necessary. As long as you have the COA, you will be fine.

I was told at the NY flagship that purchases abroad can be registered with them. Don’t know what that entails bc I didn’t go through with my purchase though, but it sounds like you have plenty of documentation.
ETA: I believe I did need the receipt for insurance

You don't need the receipt for service, there's a serial number engraved on the pendant and I'm sure they can look it up in their system to link up the serial number to the transaction. No worries!
