I know what you mean about the City Small looking like a mini - I seriously could no way imagine going smaller than the City Small!
This is my first City Small & it will be interesting to see how it works out for me, since I mostly use Cities.

I’ve been playing around with my BO city and attached the adjustable strap from my weekender. Was inspired by all the industrial thing going on at off-white and vetements.
The hardware seems to match, but looks too brutal to my mind.

I think if the strap were leather it would look better. But in the first photo, there's too much contrast between the materials. Otherwise I have nothing against the long strap!

Wait .. I'm confused. My BO (same as yours) came with a cross-body strap, your's didn't??? I have to agree with ~ muchstuff ~ in that I'm a purist as well and don't like to mess with the design.

Yes, mine came with the cross body strap as well. Trying out more comfortable options.
