I’m so lucky that it has taken me only 3 years to work my way up to my HG, forever watch.
My first was a 26mm SS Datejust (I have tiny wrists),fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet, silver dial, diamond markers. I loved that watch - it went with everything, was very comfy. I considered a very similar watch today. However, I wanted something in RG to match my thin Love & my skin tone better.
A year ago I traded that in to buy a 26mm RG & SS Datejust, fluted bezel, jubilee bracelet, pink dial, diamond markers. Another beautiful watch but felt too flashy for everyday wear. I think that was the combination of jubilee bracelet, diamond markers & the fact that the RG seemed really stand out against the SS.
Today, I traded that in to buy my forever watch! A RG 26mm Datejust, fluted bezel, oyster bracelet, pink dial, Roman numerals! She’s such a beauty. The RG blends lovely with my skin tone & the oyster bracelet/Roman numerals keeps the whole look understated. Somehow the solid RG look seems less flashy than my TT watch, to me anyway.
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
