My hands are gigantic :(

I had the same problem the other day! My palms are wide...no bangle bracelets and my gloves need to have some stretch to them! I finally settled on a Sz. L in leather and am praying they stretch with use!!!!! Add that to the fat ass, calves (no knee high boots here), and upper arms....and sometimes life stinks (the 2 pieces f pumpkin pie i just ate probably didn't help LOL)

I have little hands with fat fingers, so I'd love to have big hands with long skinny fingers. The only nice gloves I've found that fit me are leather mittens in size small

Gloves for ladies are usually too narrow for me as well. I have a solid build (broad shoulders, large hands, large feet etc).
My mom is about 5'5 and maybe 110 lbs. Her ring size is 8,5-9 because of wide knuckles.

I don't think the SA was rude by gasping. It seems like she did only because her hands are small. I think long fingers are very elegant looking..

That is probably true, for some reason I always make it about myself. I suppose it could have been a complimentary gasp

So true! When I told my friend about this story she started to tease me by singing the song to me... she actually really small hands herself, like my palm almost engulfs her entire hand!

I have big hands too. I told my DH when we got engaged that since I have big hands I needed a big diamond LOL!! It worked, though!
