My first spy (thanx to baglady)

Congrats! Such a beautiful spy. I myself would absolutely kill to have this bag... No $ for more bags at the moment. And yes how nice is the LIz goes to the wine country thread? My favourite photo was of the Liz in the 'wine Colosseum' with the cat. LOL... I think fatefullotus was the one who made that comment.
That's also my favourite! Love the cats, too! I think they're Abyssinian cats? Beautiful!

Thanks on the Liz thread!

C - they are a CFA breed called Singapuras...but it is thought they may have some Abby blood in their lines. They are really small (4-8 lbs) and a bit different (but not necessarily better!) in their behavior than the typical house cat -- we have a strong affection for them...

Kav - They have an independent/ferile (wild) streak to them, even more than most house cats if you can imagine. They don't like to be picked up & only will sit on your lap occasionally, and then only on their own terms. But they play all day & love people, especially us. We keep them indoors only as any large animal could have them as a tasty morsel to eat.

They are small & the litters are small (2-3 kittens) so you don't commonly see them. Our male, Shamy, was a show cat & loves to play and get petted (he whines/meows for play time, not food). Here are some videos of him playing with tinsel ball:

They are very popular in England, and I think there are a few breeders in Australia. We have to go across State lines to find them here in the US...

I actually lived in Singapore for a couple of years. Can't believe that I have never heard of this particular breed of cat. Not I'm just going to do some work while the video loads up (slow connection). Worth going across State lines, they are really really beautiful. They sound like my bunnies, don't really like being picked up and are very friendly only when it suits them.
